Joanna II, Queen (Principality of Achaea (Naples)) : All Data
Joanna II was the Queen of the Angevin Kingdom of Naples from 1414 to 1435. During her reign, she faced several significant conflicts, including the War of L'Aquila (1423-1424) and the War of the Neapolitan Succession (1432-1435). The War of L'Aquila was a rebellion led by the city of L'Aquila against Joanna's rule, which lasted from 1423 to 1424. The War of the Neapolitan Succession, on the other hand, was a succession dispute between Joanna and her adopted heir, René of Anjou, which lasted from 1432 to 1435. Despite these challenges, Joanna II managed to maintain her position as the ruler of the Angevin Kingdom of Naples for over two decades.
