Fajsz was the Grand Prince of the Principality of Hungary, reigning from 948 to 955. During his tenure, he faced significant military challenges, including the Battle of Lechfeld in 955. This battle was a decisive victory for Fajsz and his forces, as they defeated the invading German forces led by Otto I, securing the independence of Hungary. Additionally, Fajsz had to contend with the ongoing conflicts with the Byzantine Empire, including the Byzantine-Hungarian War of 950-952.
