Árpád was the Grand Prince of the Principality of Hungary from 896 to 907. During his reign, he led the Hungarian tribes in several significant wars, including the Battle of Bratislava in 907 against the East Francian forces. This battle marked the end of the Hungarian conquest of the Carpathian Basin and solidified Árpád's rule over the region. Additionally, Árpád faced internal conflicts, such as the rebellion of the Gyulas in 900, which he successfully suppressed, further consolidating his power and establishing the foundation of the Hungarian state.
